Law Firms of the Year: Take a Look at the Award Winners

The media group A 11 and the editorial team of Lawyers & Business magazine announced the third edition of the Law Firms of the Year project. According to Lawyers & Business, the Law Firm of the Year 2023/2024 is PRK Partners. Among the honored lawyers are Marcela Káňová from Rowan Legal, Bořivoj Líbal from Eversheds Sutherland, and Erwin Hanslik from Taylor Wessing.As part of the project, the 100 most interesting and inspiring law firms on the Czech market for the period 2023/2024 were also presented. Their names traditionally form the cover of the currently published yearbook and special edition of Lawyers & Business magazine, Law Firms of the Year 2023/2024.

Mandate of the Year for a Czech Firm: Portos

This year, the law firm Císař, Češka, Smutný made a move that surprised many—it rebranded itself as Portos. The firm justified this decision by citing the need to “reflect the company’s expanding range of services that go beyond the usual scope of traditional law firms.” One of its major recent mandates is currently unique: the transformation of the Directorate of Roads and Highways from a state-funded organization into a state enterprise. This project took four years to complete.
