Petr Michal has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Prague Chamber of Commerce.

At its regular electoral assembly, the delegates of the Prague Chamber of Commerce (HKP) once again elected attorney and partner of our law firm, Petr Michal, as Chairman of the Board. He will lead the HKP for another three years. The delegates also elected the Vice-Chairmen of the Board, who are František Blažek, Pavel Finger, and Josef Šindelář.
"My goal remains to continue unifying the policies of the Prague Chamber of Commerce within the territory of the capital city. Over the past year and a half, we have sparked debate across key sectors and held discussions with politicians and experts on topics such as transportation, housing availability, public transport quality, and the construction of parking spaces. It has become clear that the issues we’ve chosen to focus on are important and resonate strongly in public discourse. In the coming years, we are taking on another mission – to be a partner in implementing these initiatives and to stand alongside all our members, whose interests are our top priority," says Petr Michal, the newly re-elected Chairman of the Board of the Prague Chamber of Commerce (HKP).
Petr Michal has led the HKP since September 2021, when he succeeded Roman Pommer in the role, having previously served as Vice Chairman. He has been a member of the Prague Chamber of Commerce Board since 2012. Petr Michal is also an attorney and partner at the law firm Císař, Češka, Smutný and acts as an insolvency administrator. In addition, he serves on the board of trustees of the Bohemian Heritage Fund and is involved with the YPO organization in Zurich.
The Prague Chamber of Commerce (HKP) was established in June 1994. Its mission, not only in the capital city of Prague but across the entire Czech Republic, is to support small and medium-sized businesses, defend their interests, and provide them with all forms of assistance. The Chamber primarily serves its members, as well as other entrepreneurs throughout the country.
