Petr Michal: High-speed railways could improve housing accessibility in Prague

These are two issues that may seem unrelated at first glance but are actually closely interconnected: the low availability of owner-occupied housing in the capital city combined with the pressure on the rental housing market, and the planned construction of high-speed railway lines. One affects the other. Compared to developed Western European countries, the current Czech Republic is characterized by relatively low job-related mobility.
