The world-renowned author Dan Brown arrived in Prague for the first time to personally present his new project, which is, unusually, musical. He composed The Wild Symphony for children of all ages and accompanied it himself by reading poems about individual animal friends, accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra — of which our firm is a proud partner — in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House.
The Prague Chamber of Commerce, chaired by our partner Petr Michal, in cooperation with the Prague City Hall, offered tickets to this concert for talented students of Prague’s elementary art schools as a reward for actively developing their talents. The project was part of the long-term concept of the Prague Chamber of Commerce focused on the development of education in the capital city and especially on motivating excellent students of all fields and ages.
The concert was a great opportunity to introduce children and their parents to a world-renowned personality in a new role and to provide them with this encounter through a beautiful artistic experience, thus awakening their curiosity for classical music and creative activities in general.
The concert was performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Krištof Marek, the composer of the symphony read the poems in English, and the Czech translation was recited by actress Markéta Děrgelová.
