Barbora Vlachová
Legal team leader and attorney
Barbora Vlachová specialises in IT law, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. She is a registered arbitrator at the Arbitration Court attached to the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic, and she is actively involved in the work of the Czech Bar Association’s IT and GDPR Section.
Alongside her legal practice, Barbora is also engaged in academia. She lectures at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague and the University of Economics and Management.

Barbora is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of West Bohemia and the Police Academy of the Czech Republic. After several years of independent legal practice, she joined PORTOS in 2023 as a senior lawyer. She now leads the firm’s team specialising in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and information technology law.
In the same year, she was named IT Lawyer of the Year, a prestigious national award.
She is currently a candidate for the board of the Czech Bar Association, running with the Modern Advocacy platform. She also serves as a director on the board of the Czech chapter of AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association).
Barbora has authored and co-authored numerous legal publications and commentaries, including on the Expropriation Act, the Act on the Protection of Strategically Important Infrastructure, the Cybersecurity Act, and the Electronic Communications Act. She publishes regularly in the fields of IT, civil, commercial, and administrative law, and is an active speaker at expert conferences and seminars placing a heavy emphasis on cybersecurity.
