The Shipwreck by Wilhelm Riedel dates back to 1873 and is one of the dramatic romantic landscape paintings. The painting depicts a stormy sea with shipwreck debris, evoking the tension and power of the natural elements. Riedel was influenced by Romanticism, and his works often depict nature in its monumental and dramatic form. In this painting, we see not only the destruction of the ship, but also the symbolism of man's struggle against the untamed forces of the sea.

Kryštof joined the firm in 2017 as a paralegal. In 2020, during his studies, he completed a semester at Tel Aviv University.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Charles University, he began practising as a legal trainee, focusing on court and out-of-court dispute resolution, compensation claims, and the legal framework surrounding major investment plans.

He passed the bar in late 2024 and has led one of our legal teams since 2025. He was instrumental in setting up and growing Portos’ Brno office.

My insights
